Today in class, you used your claim/reasons to write your character analysis flash draft. You were encouraged to consider using a variety of evidence (direct quotes, summarizing, and/or storytelling). I think you were pleasantly surprised to see that the activities you did last week including: developing a claim, highlighting evidence, and doing the thought processing activity all were brainstorming steps for the essay writing.

We had some time to read Chapter 7 of the WGTB. Don’t forget to complete the WGTB Response to Reading and submit!

  • Fishbowl Group #4: Written explanation and wiki review
