Today in class, we began with a fun review of sentence structures (with a bigger focus on compound and complex sentences. Then, you used your Story Map (external events/internal feelings) as a guide for today’s flash draft writing. Prior to beginning, you were reminded to follow a common plot structure with a setting and strong characters, as you wrote your flash draft. You were told a little more time would be provided to finish the flash draft tomorrow.
Remember, the purpose of flash draft writing is to get your ideas down on paper, fast and furious, with a plot structure. We will be revising for all those components from Bend Two in the upcoming week.
